Legal/Judicial Experience: I’ve spent my entire career as a trial lawyer handling criminal and civil cases in Kitsap County. Starting in 1999, I worked first as a Public Defender and then as a Deputy Prosecutor. For the past 17 years I have served as Gig Harbor’s City Prosecutor. I am currently a partner at Glisson & Morris in Port Orchard, the town where my wife and I live and raised our children. I have been serving regularly as Judge Pro Tem in Kitsap District and Municipal Courts since 2004.

Education: JD, University of Washington School of Law. BA, Philosophy, University of Alaska Fairbanks.

Statement: I’m running for District Court to improve our community’s access to justice and make Kitsap County a better place to live. By making our judicial process more transparent and less intimidating, we can ensure everyone receives fair treatment under the law.

As your Judge, I will always hear all litigants equally, respect the rights of defendants and victims alike, and hold offenders accountable. I will ensure all feel welcome in court, embrace the use of technology, and apply my decades of litigation experience to every case before me.

My extensive courtroom experience includes 100+ jury trials, numerous appeals, and countless contested criminal motions and administrative hearings. I have appeared as counsel in 20+ different courts in Washington and served extensively as Judge Pro Tem in this court. I am proud to have the highest rating from all four judicial evaluation committees in Washington: the Asian Bar Association, Latino/a Bar Association, QLaw (LGBT Bar Association), and Washington Women Lawyers.

I am endorsed by over 100 judges, attorneys, and community members who recognize that my broad range of experience uniquely qualifies me to carry on our court’s standard of excellence. I would be honored to serve and I ask for your vote.
