I have dedicated my career as a public defender to ensuring that all people can be heard and treated fairly, despite the many barriers to access justice. I work closely with people in mental health crises and those struggling with addiction, poverty, and homelessness. I am a trial attorney with approximately forty jury trials, and experience representing juveniles, adults facing misdemeanors and serious felonies, and individuals going through mental health civil commitment.

I have seen first-hand the intersection between poverty and law in civil legal issues. That is why I joined the board of the largest civil legal aid provider in the state.

I am running for Superior Court Judge because I care about this community. It is where my husband and I chose to raise our young children. It is where I grew up and made some of my closest friendships that I hold dear to my heart. I want to give back in the best way I can. Being a judge, in a position to uphold the Constitution and the laws of this state, in a manner that is equitable and just for all, would be a tremendous honor and privilege.

I humbly ask for your vote.
