Community Service
I believe in second chances and volunteer with the King County Bar
Association Records Project to vacate eligible criminal convictions. I
believe in criminal justice alternatives for youth so I serve on a
community accountability board for the Partnership for Youth Justice. I
am passionate about gender equity and serve as a Vice President of
Washington Women Lawyers.
Statement
I am running to bring a more inclusive voice to the King County
Superior Court. I believe in the Rule of Law and that the law applies
equally to everyone. I will treat everyone who comes into my courtroom
with dignity and respect, give them their day in court, listen, and
strive to do justice. I will ensure that people of color are not
unfairly excluded from serving on juries. As a judge, I will bring my
commitment to social justice and fairness to the court. I will work
tirelessly to address systemic bias in our judicial system and ensure
everyone has a fair chance.
