Washington Supreme CourtSupreme Court justices are elected to six-year terms by voters throughout the entire state. There are nine Supreme Court justices, and Washington residents vote for three every two years. There are no Supreme Court elections in 2011. In 2012, the positions held by Tom Chambers, Susan Owens, and Gerry Alexander's appointed successor will be on the ballot. |
